Malá Skála Gallery - Bouček`s homestead
Bouček`s homestead is a timbered building, which is a magnificent example of folk architecture. The Visual Arts Gallery has its seat in the building.
Bouček`s homestead is a timbered multi-storey building with a saddle roof and a high indented gable end on its stone part, bearing the year of 1813. It is a magnificent example of folk architecture. Former classicistic elements have been preserved in the building.
It also accommodates a permanent exposition about the history of the Malá Skála Region and the Visual Arts Gallery. A themed pub is located on the ground floor. The whole premises are complemented with a grandparents' apartment and a barn.
Location: in the centre of the village - behind the bridge over the Jizera River.
