The filming of this adventurous story started in Prague in June 2003. Bohemian Paradise was featured in scenes shot near Kost Castle (the general’s castle), Plakánek Valley, near the Podsemínský mlýn Mill and in Žehrov. The film was directed by the renowned Terry Gilliam (Monty Python’s Flying Circus, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas) and the screenplay was written by Ehren Kruger (The Ring).
